The Prayer of Blessing for the Prophet's Redemptive Gifts:

Prophet, you are a visionary. You are at your finest doing what God created you to do when you are trying to solve problems through discovering principles and applying them. You are called to see new applications and new ways to implement God’s principles in new situations. In many things you are the conception point. You easily do vision-casting to get people, especially leaders, to see the call of God on their life and to embrace pain in order to live in their birthright. You can provide the vision to bring a group of people to possess their birthright. You are fulfilled when you can show a picture of God so real that it takes others to the point of excellence in experiencing all that God can do. I bless this inspirational and transformational quality of your gift.

I bless your passion for excellence in yourself and others, especially leaders. You see the fingerprints of God on the broken and come alongside them to restore. You Celebrate the person can become when liberated from their bondage. Your passion for restoration draws you to brokenness as you see the evil of sin and restorative power of God. You understand the deep damage done to people and to the kingdom when sin is dealt with lightly. You stand in the gap between what is and what could be. You are quick to say this is wrong, but you know how to wisely handle principles of grace, reconciliation, and rebuilding to restore a broken life.

I bless your fierce intentionality and intensity. Let God sanctify that gift of excellence because He is excellent, so that you don't fall into perfectionism.

I bless your need to be alone. God wants time alone with you for intimacy with him. It is important to give him this first – fruits of your time.

It seems that you are called to pay a higher price than other gifts because of your personal disciplines. There are seasons when God seems to be silent in your life. I bless you during the pruning times to build a deeper root system for greater productivity in fruit that remains. In these times God is drawing you up to a higher level. I bless you with making sense of your wilderness experiences, but sometimes you can see it only in hindsight.

I bless your commitment to be abstract truth. You demonstrate a faith based on the principles of God's Word. "God said it. I believe it. This truth will work. Let's go with it." The fear of the Lord is your stock – in-trade. I bless you with keen, sensitive ears to what God desires, because when you hear from Him, you will do it. You often stand like a signpost directing toward the Way, the Truth and the Life to incite others to action, to turn their eyes toward God, and to urge them forward.

You take initiative and enjoy new things. You shift gears quickly, you change from one direction to another. You are active, not passive. Independence is a high value. You are a trailblazer and the pioneer, not a city-dweller. You are a catalyst, not a slow responder. You think outside the box. You hate maintaining the status quo. You know no fear in your basic boldness. You are not intimidated by the unknown or change. I bless your hard work, perseverance, endurance, keeping on keeping on when others would quit. I bless you doing the right thing at great personal cost because it is the right thing to do. I bless your need to have a goal, a reason to live, and an objective. You cannot tolerate having no options. You do not like to be locked into one plan that is not allowed to be improved or changed. You want to make sense out of everything, even unreasonable situations. You don't do well when there is no reason, no point, and no progress toward a positive end. You need the "why". I bless you to let God be God at times when he does not choose to tell you the "why".

I bless you to learn to establish appropriate bridges in relationship without compromising truth in order to get truth accepted by relational people. I bless you with patients with earning the right to speak because of relationship, when you believe that truth speaks for itself. As you are willing to embrace relationship, you will speak, as God wants you to speak in situations.

You tend to see things in black and white, right and wrong. You hate lukewarm, mediocre, and compromise. I bless that intolerance for mediocrity and shades of gray. Let God temper it with viewing others through the blood of Jesus, who was the full of grace and truth. I bless you with the fullness of grace to see beyond win – lose to seek out win – win responses and solutions.

I bless your compulsion for honesty, vulnerability, integrity, and transparency. You are verbally expressive and articulate, often the first to speak in a group. You recoil from hidden agendas, manipulation, and deception. You have keen discernment to quickly assess and evaluate people and situations. You can spot rebels and phonies, especially in leadership. Your first impression is right nine times out of ten. You do not tolerate rebellion, hypocrisy, and denial. You process quickly and have an opinion on everything. Give that discernment to God and ask him what he wants to do with it. I bless you to let God add his measure of grace so that your discernment does not turn to judgment, criticism, and bitterness.

You can build, not just criticize. You can identify a problem, embrace it, and apply the right principle to effectively make things right. You always seek right solutions. I bless your God – given sense of justice to be a champion for people to receive everything that God wants for them to have.

You tend to be hard on yourself and are prone to self – condemnation. Your default position is that you messed up or didn't do enough or didn't do it right. I bless you with taking your failures or shortcomings to the throne of grace and there to find mercy in the face of your Father.

I bless your wide range of emotions. You are intense and passionate. Jesus was the essence of joy, but he was called a man of sorrows and spoke with passionate urgency, pity, and anger about religious life in his day. You can experience depression but are also one of the best at celebrating what God has done.

I bless your generosity and loyalty. I bless you with God's wisdom in giving and the bestowing loyalty. I bless you with growth in grace in your major battlefields – alienation, unforgiveness, and bitterness. I bless you to come into alignment with God's purposes, so that there is less struggle between spirit, soul, and body. You are the first – fruits of God's gifts, and I bless you with maturing into God's beautiful full intention. Let him call the expression of your gifts up higher into all that he sees when he looks at you. I bless you with gaining from the Spirit of God a new understanding of who you are as God designed you to be. I bless you in Jesus' name. Amen.

Power from the Psalms

Saints of God,

I love reading the Psalms, I find they give me such encouragement and strength. I feel like the revelations David has about the kindness and compassion of my Heavenly Father is a source of help for my life. I read these two verses today and felt the Lord speak to me about some things in my life. Be encouraged and strengthened today.

PK

Psalms 27:14- Wait on the LORD; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the LORD!

I feel like the Lord is saying, “Come into My peace.  Do not allow stress to take you out of spiritual perfection and flow.  Be calm and trust Me to perfect those things that concern you.  I am with you and will bring you through in great victory.  Let your heart erupt in praise and thanksgiving for what I am doing.  I am your shield and your exceedingly great reward.  Do not be afraid.

Psalms 37:3- Trust in the LORD, and do good; dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness.

Be strong and stay focused on things that actually matter--things of eternal value.  Do not get distracted from abiding in My presence, says the Lord.  Stay present with Me.  Then, everything else will be taken care of as you move in the power of My Spirit.  Put first things first every hour.  Feed on things that have spiritual substance.

Decree a Thing

Greetings to Everyone,
I preached on Sunday that we need to camp where God has us right now and not just look for another word. After fasting, praying and giving during God’s momentum, Passover season, God sent a prophetic word saying, “Decree a thing and it will be established”. (Job 22:28)
To Decree means:
A statement or order that can’t be opposed.
TO divide, to cut in two, to cut off, to destroy, separate or exclude.
So I want to send you some decree’s from the book of Psalms that will get some things established over our lives!
Blessings PK
PSALM 67:6
“I praise the Lord, and the earth yields its increase to me.”
This is a promise!
Therefore I praise the Lord:
I praise the Lord in the morning and in the evening.
I praise the Lord when I cannot see His way clearly.
I praise Him when He makes the way known.
Without hesitation and without question
I praise the Lord!
And I am given increase upon increase!
Watch and see how increase overtakes me.
The earth is the Lord’s and all it contains.
The earth yields its increase to me by the decree of the
            Lord!
The whole earth and all it contains
The land, the soil and waterways – yield your increase
            for me.
My home upon the earth, my sphere of influence and
            family friends,
Be fruitful, multiply, and yield all your goodness for
            me.
My business, hobbies and new opportunities,
I decree increase!
            Lost wages – repaid
            Stolen time – restored
            Sales and exchanges – growing
            Work and business – profitable
Interest and dividend reports – rising
New ideas and inventions – downloaded
I speak to the riches of the earth: gold, oil, minerals
            and gemstones,
Increase in value, increase in my portfolio, appear in
            my midst.
I speak to the resources of the earth: water, air and
            soil,
Increase in purity and in abundance, increase as my
            possessions.
I decree the restoration of the earth,
I break the power of the curse and speak freedom!
I speak to the fruit trees and to the seeds planted by
            the farmer:
Grow, prosper, free of insect and germ, full of life and
            life-giving power.
I decree nourishment to the earth and welcome
            nourishment in return.
I praise the Lord, for all that He does for me.
I praise the Lord for the increase granted to me.

Get a Bigger Container!

If I had a thousand gallons of water to give you but you only had a one-gallon container, you wouldn't be able to receive what I had for you. The problem would not be with the supply. It would be with your ability to receive. If you would get rid of the small container and get something larger, I could give you so much more.

It’s the same way with God. We might have a tendency to think, “The economy is down. I could never afford that house I really want. My business will never expand. I don’t have the funding. I don’t have the people behind me.” No, you've got to get rid of that one-gallon bucket. Get rid of that small container. The God we serve is a big God! He has an unlimited supply. Jesus said, “According to your faith it will be done unto you.” It’s not according to God. God has all the power, all the resources in the world.

The Apostle Paul said it this way, “And [so that you can know and understand] what is the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His power in and for us who believe...”

(Ephesians 1:19, AMP)

It’s according to what we believe.

Today, let’s increase our capacity to receive. Enlarge our thinking by meditating on the Word of God. Praise Him and magnify Him because with God all things are possible, and He has an unlimited supply!

Got Any Fans?

Think about the people in your life that are pro-you? I hope you have a long list! Those you consider friends, those who are loyal and supportive. Hopefully you number your family, spouse, kids, parents etc. in that number. A week or so ago my wife came home and found me initialing golf balls for a charity event I was playing in. She asked me if I was preparing ahead of time by autographing them. I laughed and told her no, but it made me feel so good and important for her to think somebody would value me enough to want my autograph. It made me feel special even if she was joking with me. Sadly, many of us think and act as if no one is pro-us!

I read this scripture this week and I hope it boots your morale! Somebody is for you! Isaiah 30:18 (NIV) says, “Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; he rises to show you compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him!” God’s not just on your side; He longs to be for you! He gets up each new day with the purpose of showing you compassion. This is His justice!

God is for us! God is an “Us fan”! He wants our autograph; he has carved our names in a tree with a heart around it, and has a picture of us on His refrigerator! Maybe I exaggerate a little but His word says our names are written on His hand, and He captures all our tears. Let this encourage us to believe the best, keep reaching forward in faith, expect our miracle. Our Heavenly Father is for us!

Blessings,

PK

Worry Cure!

Is there something that you are worrying about today? To worry means to allow something to revolve in your mind over and over again. God doesn’t want us to live worried or anxious about anything. He knows that worry steals our peace and joy. It affects every area of our life. Matthew 6:27(NIV) says, “Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?”
Have you heard the saying, “Don’t worry yourself sick?” That’s because worrying affects our physical body. It affects our sleep. We  won’t ever gain anything by worrying; in fact, we’ll lose precious moments that we can never get back again. The good news is that God has promised that we can have victory over worry. It starts by making the choice to trust in Him. When you cast your cares on Him, He will give you His peace.
I love that Jesus gives us a worry cure a few verses later in this passage. Matthew 6:33-34 (THE MESSAGE) says, “Steep your life in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions. Don't worry about missing out. You'll find all your everyday human concerns will be met. (34) "Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don't get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes.”
Decide today to put an end to worry in your life. Choose to feed your faith and fill your mind with God's promises. As you focus on God’s Word, you’ll drive out worry and fill your heart with faith and expectancy; and you’ll be empowered to move forward into the life of blessing He has in store for you!
See ya Sunday,

Don't Fight Naked

Is there something in your life that you would like to put a stop to today? Maybe it’s a certain behavior, addiction, or bad attitude that isn't pleasing to God? Just as Adam and Eve were exposed in their sin, and needed to be clothed in the Garden, we need to clothe ourselves to protect us from sin. When you “clothe yourself” with the Lord Jesus Christ, He strengthens you against temptation.

“Clothe yourself with the Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah), and make no provision for [indulging] the flesh [put a stop to thinking about the evil cravings of your physical nature]”

(Romans 13:14, AMP)

How do we clothe ourselves with Jesus Christ? In the same way we cover ourselves in the natural with clothing — by putting something on. When I was in college I had a t-shirt I wore all the time. The front of it said, “Don’t Fight Naked”. The back said, “Put on the whole armor of God.” Needless to say it started many conversations when I would wear it out in public.

The principle, whether physical or spiritual, remains the same. For ultimate success, we must be clothed! We have to daily “put on” the Word of God. We have to cover our ears by listening to His Word. We cover our eyes by watching what is pleasing to the Lord. We cover our mouth’s by speaking the Word and being an encouragement to others.  As we cover ourselves with Christ, we will be strong against temptation, and we will walk in the victory the Lord has planned for us!

Blessings,
